Sea of Thieves Gameplay Footage

Runtime: 9:34    Author: Xbox    Category: Trailers

The Xbox One and Windows 10 PC exclusive, Sea of Thieves, now has a release window. According to the gameplay walkthrough shown onstage at the Xbox E3 Briefing, the Xbox Play Anywhere first-person cartoonish pirate simulator will be releasing early 2018.

The comedically-narrated gameplay walkthrough shown at the Xbox Briefing follows a four-play party as they explore a shipwreck, loot equipment and treasure, escape sharks, explore an island and it's cave system, fight skeletons, then battle other players on the high seas during a thunder storm. Apparently this is what players can expect when they eventually get their hands on it - either upon release, or during the technical alpha; which you can sign up for a chance to partake in now.

Sea of Thieves will release in early 2018 to Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, and will be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.

Funny the world looks great i.e. Water, Plants, Boats but characters and frame rate from demo were a bit last gen. Hope they can add some polish.
