PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is continuing to dominate the Steam charts. Just one month after passing 1.5 million concurrent users, the 100-player battle royale is closing in on the 2 million milestone.
Over the last 30 days, the game hit 1.98 million concurrent players. That’s an increase of a few hundred thousand. For more context, Steam had a peak of about 16 million concurrent users in the past few days.
The game recently broke the record for most concurrent players on Steam. That figure was previously held by Dota 2, which had nearly 1.3 million. The feat is impressive given that Dota 2 is a free-to-play title, while PUBG comes with a conventional price tag.
PUBG released in March via Steam Early Access. The game is slated to arrive on Xbox One later this year.
