Publisher EA has detailed what players will have access to when the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 beta rolls out from October 6 - 9. Two modes (Galactic Assault, and Starfighter Assault) will be shown off, each with its own map.
Galactic Assault will take players to Naboo, in the city of Theed – the same location shown in the multiplayer reveal at EA Play this year. Players can select from four different classes, and must push a payload down a long stretch of road.
EA hasn’t offered details about Starfighter Assault. According to IGN, the map will feature a space combat battle from the original trilogy era, “piloting an assortment of Star Wars’ greatest ships in an objective-based, multi-stage battle.”
More of the game will be shown off at Gamescom in August.
You’ll get access to the beta two days earlier if you pre-ordered the game.
