Halo 6 Won't Be Unveiled

343 Industries confirmed it won't be lifting the curtain on Master Chief's next adventure for a while yet, IGN reports.

The news came courtesy of a blog post on Halo Waypoint:

"We won’t be talking about Halo’s next major title for quite some time. And no, that doesn’t mean Gamescom. Or PAX. Trust us, when we’re ready to begin pulling back that proverbial curtain, you’ll know. It won’t be soon."

We knew Halo 6 wouldn't be at E3 2017, but apparently the game is further from reveal than initially thought.

A digital expansion was announced for Halo Wars 2 during E3 however; Awakening the Nightmare, giving the Banished their own single-player campaign as well as bringing back the Flood.

let's hope the campaign isn't as bad as Halo 5's.

Halo has never really resonated with me, so hope they put those resources into something different.

Awesome hope they continue to make Halo for a long time. Single-handedly my favourite Xbox franchise and the reason we have one around :')

As long as they're working on a kick-ass, meaningful, heart wrenching, action packed story with cool cast and epic boss battles in crazy cool locations, then I don't care if it takes another 2 years before we hear/see something :)

Maybe they will finally realize that sprint/Spartan abilities literally add NOTHING to the game and will remove them?

Their big system seller should be pumped out way quicker than this, esp since the One X was just announced, should have it out as a launch bundle title for the One X.
