Uncharted 4 Sells over 2.7 Million in First Week

The publishing arm of Sony – Sony Interactive Entertainment America – unveiled some stats for Naughty Dog’s latest action-adventure game Uncharted 4 today: the game has sold over 2.7 million units in global sales, across both physical Blu-ray releases and digital copies.

That data extends to another intersecting factoid, says Senior Director of SIEA Asad Qizilbash. The game is apparently the fastest-selling PlayStation 4 first party title to-date.

“It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly two weeks since we officially released Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on PS4,” said Qizilbash. “It’s one of the most beautifully crafted games I’ve ever played, and the great reception we’ve seen from the community has been amazing and humbling.”

“Naughty Dog’s exceptionally talented team has created magic once again, carefully constructing an adrenaline-pumping, thrilling, and beautifully written culmination to Nathan Drake’s adventures,” he added, “They truly outdid themselves.”

I'm surprised it wasn't more to be honest. Anyway, they deserve all the sales and recognition they get, it's a masterpiece.
